2025 Sponsorship Opportunities

The Chamber’s Annual Celebration focuses on highlighting the Chamber’s work in the past year while also recognizing and celebrating businesses and entrepreneurs through our annual business awards. This event also provides an opportunity for business leaders and community organizations to come together to grow their connections throughout Grinnell.

One of the Chamber’s strategic initiatives is to support small businesses through educational opportunities. From Bite Sized Learning to Watch It With Us and specialized one-off training, the Chamber aims to provide entrepreneurs with the latest information to help them make informed decisions in their business.

The Chamber’s Connecting For Women events provide the opportunity for area women to network in a business and social setting. Networking events are free to attend and open to all. The keynote sessions provide professional and personal development for attendees. These sessions are a ticketed event open to all regardless of membership status.

NEW for 2025 - The Chamber aims to recognize all outgoing seniors and their post-graduation plans. All seniors - whether they are attending a 4 year university, trade school, certificate program, military enlistment, or headed straight into the workforce - will be recognized by name and receive a corresponding cord to wear at graduation. Students will be invited to a special meal, followed by an awards ceremony that is open to their families.

NEW for 2025 - Back to School Breakfast will be an opportunity to welcome back all our community educators and support staff as they prepare for the 2025-2026 school year. 

NEW for 2025 - Grinnell Chamber, in partnership with Grinnell Tigers Activities Department, hosts the Grinnell-Newburg Homecoming Parade as an opportunity to be supportive of our educational institutions. In 2024, the parade welcomed over 60 floats and had audiences of over 2,000 local residents. Sponsorship dollars will be shared with the Grinnell Tigers Activities Department.

NEW for 2025 - This new event will highlight opportunities to shop local for Valentine’s Day.  Grinnell retailers will host activities, treats, music and more for customers to participate in and enjoy, free of charge. This event is still in development but looks to recreate the atmosphere of Jingle Bell Holiday.

As the longest-running community event of the year, Grinnell Farmers Market allows for 24 weeks of promotion. Market is composed of over 40 local vendors who grow, make and produce their products. Grinnell Farmers Market has dedicated social and email channels that are used throughout the year in addition to the Chamber’s channels.

This event works to welcome new residents to town. It also provides the opportunity for businesses and organizations to introduce themselves to these new Grinnellians. By highlighting opportunities to shop local for goods and services, sharing opportunities to volunteer and community events to attend. We hope new residents feel more connected to Grinnell after attending.

Grinnell on the 4th Parade kicks off at 5 PM on July 4th and weaves through 2 miles of the heart of Grinnell. This event is a favorite of local residents and also draws a number of parade watchers and businesses from outside the community.

Grinnell’s official kickoff to the holiday shopping season brings families and college students downtown to explore small businesses and participate in holiday activities. This event is often mentioned in community surveying as a favorite of all ages.

Winter Farmers Market is a growing event which featured over 22 local vendors and over 900 visitors during the 2023 Winter Market. Two weekends of market will be held in 2025. 

Grinnell’s holiday celebration features lighted displays and decorations in Central Park, opportunities to see Santa and kids activities and recognition of other winter holidays and events happening from November 21 through December 31, 2025.

Home for the Holidays will feature an opportunity for locals and visitors to engage and learn about various winter holidays and celebrations from around the world. This display features decorations highlighting various holiday celebrations which may take place between Friday, November 21, 2025 through December 31, 2025. This display will be located in Central Park as part of the lighted holiday displays.
