30 minute lunch-on-your-own break provided

Participants are welcome to pack a lunch and dine in the comfortable student lounge or frequent one of Grinnell's great restaurants.

Course will be presented at Iowa Valley Community College, Grinnell Campus

$75 - includes class and testing only

Course book can be ordered at additional cost.

The current version of the Iowa Food Code requires every food service establishment to have a certified food protection manager on staff.

This course helps to meet this obligation, improve credibility among customers, reduce code violations/fines and minimize the risk of food-borne outbreak from your facility.

Certification requires successful passing of exam with a score of 70% or higher.
