Stepping Stones Christian Bookstore excited to announce that we will be hosting a Jewelry Trunk Show featuring featuring Alegria Accessories, Inc. on Saturday, April 13th from 10 AM - 12:30 PM. This jewelry is hand crafted by women from Honduras who aged out of the orphanage system. This opportunity helps keep these women off the streets and allows them a living wage to help support their families. Sarah, the woman who started this organization, is the daughter of Honduras missionaries. She saw first hand the need for an organization like this to help these women stay off the streets. She saw a need and she is doing something about it! The jewelry is absolutely gorgeous and includes pieces with fresh water pearls and a variety of unique and beautiful stones.

Alegria Accessories was founded by the daughter of missionaries who started and ran a children's home in Honduras. The young women aging out of the orphanage are hand-crafting our jewelry collecting in a safe environment for wages that support themselves and their families. Carrying that Caribbean feel, but following current colors and trends, we are creating joyful jewelry for women who want to use their shopping dollars to empower and uplift.
