If it’s summer, it must be Thursday Music in the Park! Grab a bite from a Grinnell restaurant or at the Hy-Vee food truck at the park, bring your blankets and camp chairs, and join the Grinnell Area Arts Council in Grinnell’s Central Park at 7 PM on Thursday evenings for a mix of music from local and regional favorites!

  • ​(Des Moines) is a fusion of Andean and South American folk music utilizing traditional instruments such as the zampona, quena and charango. This musical group also integrates their traditional Andean sound with more modern Latin and Caribbean rhythms such as cumbia, bachata and rock en español.
