Singer-songwriter, country, blues/folk, conjunto style musician Dave Moore will perform at the Solera Wine Bar & Listening Room in Grinnell on Tuesday, 04/22/2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Beverages available for purchase. Food will Not be available for purchase. Outside food items may be brought in during this event. Eastern Iowa’s Dave Moore writes and plays guitar, button accordion and harmonica in a country, blues/folk, and conjunto style. He is a veteran of A Prairie Home Companion, winner of Iowa Arts Council grants and recipient of the 2017 Folk Tradition Midwest Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM). One of the finest songwriters to come out of Iowa, Moore has recorded three albums with Red House Records and has written songs recorded by Lowen & Navarro, Greg Brown and Larry Penn. His instrumental prowess on harmonica and accordion makes him an in-demand session player as well; he has appeared on recordings with Greg Brown, Garrison Keillor, David Zollo, Brother Trucker and many more. Moore has opened for such greats as Townes Van Zandt, John Hammond Jr. and Los Lobos, and shared the stage with Chet Atkins, Nick Lowe and Beausoleil, among others. https://www.redhouserecords.com/artists/dave-moore/
