WHERE: Stew Makerspace Metal Shop (come to front door in Studio A to begin) WHEN: Sunday, April 27, 3:00 - 5:00 PM INSTRUCTOR: Nick Self AGES: 18+ FEE: $40 (Current Stew Makerspace pass holders automatically receive a 10% discount; Grinnell High School and Grinnell College students may receive a 25% discount; use code STUDENT25) Try decorative welding in this introductory metal workshop. Participants will be guided through using a MIG welder, metal band saw, and angle grinder to form washers and a metal rod into a decorative metal flower. Materials included. No experience required.
