Celebrate the kick-off to the holiday shopping season with Grinnell Chamber's annual Jingle Bell Holiday! Join us on Friday, November 22 from 5-8 PM in downtown Grinnell. Guests are invited to enjoy festive activities including the lighting of the Central Park decorations, activities and promotions at a variety of businesses, horse drawn carriage rides, and receive double punches on holiday punch cards on all purchases made throughout the evening. Bring your friends and family for some free holiday fun!
5-8 PM: Business Open Houses & Winter Farmers Market
5:15 PM: Performances by Michelle's Dance Academy* & Steppin' Out Dance Studio* followed by Central Park decoration lighting
5:30 PM: Santa visits begin at Grinnell State Bank* (last admission at 7:30 PM), Carriage Rides begin at the corner of 4th Ave & Broad St.
Grinnell College will provide a shuttle & carriage rides for students leaving from the JRC starting at 5 PM on November 22 and will drop off downtown through 8 PM. It takes about 30 minutes for the horse and carriage to complete a full lap. The College Shuttle picks up and drops off in the same locations and runs every 15 minutes through 8:30 PM.
Many businesses and organizations will be hosting kid activities, crafts, refreshments, open houses and other activities during the evening. More businesses and organizations (*denotes Grinnell Chamber of Commerce Member) participating in the evening festivities will be added in the coming weeks.

Dari Barn on the Moooove*: The Dari Barn trailer will be downtown near Central Park with bbq pork sandwiches, mini donuts, frozen hot chocolate and hot chocolate available for purchase!
Grinnell Area Arts Council*: Local Artist Market will be open & Too Many String Band will be performing
Grin City Bakery*: Assorted old-fashioned ring donuts available for purchase; free hot chocolate
Grinnell Craft Brewhouse*: Free hot cider and hot chocolate for all ages, get $25 gift cards for just $20
Grinnell Model Railroad Club: will debut their new setup of the Grinnell Railway Express, stop by 1014 3rd Ave from 5-7:30 PM.
Grinnell School of Music*: Sing holiday carols along with a live piano and enjoy treats

Grinnell United Church of Christ*: Grinnell's Children's Choir will perform in the sanctuary at 5:30 PM followed by family activities, festive treats and Christmas crafts in the Friendship Hall.
Grinnell-Newburg School District Office*: Meet and Greet with Superintendent Lisa Beames and school board members. Carolers from Davis Elementary will perform at 6 PM.
Hair of the Dog*: Poweshiek Animal League Shelter* will have adoptable kittens in the window.

Pioneer Bookshop*: Kids' craft available. Limited editions sweatshirts will be debuted and with every $20 purchase get a 20% off coupon to be used the first week of December.

St. Mary's Catholic Church: Knights of Columbus will hold a soup supper from 5-7 PM featuring chili or chicken noodle soup; tickets are $10/Adults and $5/kids. Dessert sold separately to benefit the St. Mary Faith Formation Program. A small market with handmade items by parishioners will take place as well.
Solera*: Teaming up with Fareway* to provide cheese and wine samples for those 21 and over.
