Job Description

A Grinnell Recreation Department Aquatic Center Water Slide Attendant supervises all daily activities at the facility they are assigned for that day. The Water Slide Attendant strives to maintain a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment while providing a positive experience for the public. The Water Slide Attendant assists fellow staff members in the operation of extra-curricular activities such as swim meets, rentals and other special uses. Starting wage $11.00/hour. Employment period May through August.

Requirements

Requirements

Current CPR/First Aid Certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to enforce all City of Grinnell Recreation Department policies and procedures.
Physically and mentally able to react to all emergency situations.
Possess trustworthy qualities (respected, reliable, responsible, organized, enthusiastic, professional).
