POSITION SUMMARY

Performs routine accounting, purchasing and accounts payable duties following established policies and procedures, to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. Maintains documentation in compliance with policies and procedures for internal control and external audit requirements. Verifies and checks the work of others and refers unusual problems to supervisor.

This is a term position ending 12/19/2025 with the potential to be extended.
 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Voucher entry / Voucher Audit
  • Scanning and linking all documentation
  • JP Morgan Chase VISA statement review
  • Maintain vendor id’s in accounting system
  • Run payment process (checks and e-checks) twice a week
  • Minor administrative duties as assigned


This is a Two Year Term position with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree or GED
  • Three years or more of work experience
  • Effective personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc
  • Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Acute detail when it comes to planning and organizing
  • Proficiency in the ability to be adaptable to changing work priorities; excellent individual efficiency
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within the department and with campus partners

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Office bookkeeping experience and administrative experience
